Are some females still living in the dark ages?

I just had an encounter with a woman today that made me take to the blogs.... I HAD TO

She appears to be in her late 30's and she surprised me with her comment.

Picture this:

A female customer/client/guest comes up to you and ask for a replacement product of which is not widely sold or even sold at all. You inform her that this product is not easily sourced and that you do not have this product and went on to tell her of one possible place she can try.
Her response is "ok, are there any males here."
You ask " with regards to what"
Her response " well most times WE females DON"T know where to get things and the guys know".
I paused.... cause now I am shocked.
I say, "please dont say that...I am offended that you say WE females as I am in the business of knowing where to get things."
At that same moment a male collegue just happen to be walking by and she stopped him and asked him to tell her where she can get her product.
He, having not heard our conversation before, gave her the same response I did.

After she left I just had to tell others of our encounter as I was just flabbergasted......

I did not know females in this day and age thought like this...... and yea I may not know everything but DAMN IT there is Google..lol.....OR I will go and research it and get back to you with the answer.

So tell me what is you take on this?

It doesn't surprise me one bit...some women's mind doesn't extend beyond the kitchen or bedroom and they are the ones that leave everything up to a man because they lack "self-confidence". Such a pity some women still think that way...stop hiding behind the men and step out, there's so much you can learn.

On the real tho, that lady cant be blamed, she lives in a man's world in her head where females are just good for having babies.

LOL - funny, but somehow i see where she is coming from.. more time whenever i go to a place to buy something and a woman helps me out i actually have to "DUMB IT DOWN" in terms of technology knowledge so she can understand. i went into royal computers the other day and asked this woman about a MOBO she was sellign. she showed me an ATX mobo had all the bells and whistles.. so i said "bells and whistles huh.. can you tell me what front side bus speed does this board support for the CPU?" - she of course has no clue.. then she goes and gets a male collegue to come and tell me (i think he was 1 of the higher ups)

the reason why i think this happened is because most women feel that they should know what they need and anymore is unnecessary because they expect people who they are selling to to be on the same level of knowledge as them.. its been happening ALOT where women get hired in the field of technology not for their knowledge but for how they look and how they can speak to a customer

im not saying that there arent women who know dem ting bout computer technology - what im saying is that there are so far and few because the traditional jamaican woman hate technology outside of BBM! so that is why some women will feel better assisted by men (GIGGIDY)

my idea of a woman from d dark ages is any woman woman dat listen to some of dem dancehall song dat actually dis dem up an mek dem look like nuttin but face, tits and p**** and go "MI LOVE DAH SONG YAH". mi undastan seh some song is about good vibes an ting but its funny dat some of the song dem DIRECTED at degrading women and dem nuh business cuz it a sell off fi di man dem

sorry 4 ma perspective if it offends anyone here

i understand fully re the whole dancehall aspect of it.....something is truly wrong with those women......

but as it pertains to the technology aspect......i cant really say i agree because for me it doesnt necessarily mean that as a female she knows less.....but with everyone (male and female) you may not necessarily know everything about a product and so u either get back to them with info or ask someone who is more knowledgeable.....

i mean you could have gone into royale and asked a guy the same question..... he may not know that aspect of it and in turn calls his colleague to assist....whether male or female.....

dont get me wrong i know that some stores have females that are only there for decoration .....but some of us do have more upstairs....
